As long as it supports analogs (cough cough Dark Omen cough cough), you even have a rumentary touch panel to help you sort out some functions, like abilities activation, or stances or something.Shizheng and the people, the vertical and horizontal, explore the unknown, the accumulation of each round, and gradually build your empire! You have to seize, build and manage a large number of towns, recruit a large number of troops, upgrade the ranks of legendary lords and heroes, and equip them with sophisticated weapons and armor. You could easily stick a 10€ USB mouse in the PS4 and you're good to go (assuming, in case the game ever came out on it, they would work a bit on mouse support). The peripheral can be an issue, but not a huge one. I'm not saying it would be impossible for a PS4 to run it, but it would be a LOT of work for porting it, basically re-writing the basics to allocate the work differently between CPU and GPU, and changin the RAM usage (PS4 has more or less 5,2 GB of free RAM for games to use).
Let's consider this game will be insanely CPU-consuming, and current consoles have their bottleneck exactly in the CPU (that's because they're not made for this kind of games, most of the titles that end up on them have few iper-detailed stuff rathern than tons of stuff at once). PS4's cycle will probably end around 2020-2021, so after TW Warhammer saga is done (I hope!), but there are technical difficulties to keep in mind. PS4 will be right at the end of it's life span by the time TWWH3 comes out and it would not be upto the task of rendering a game that has been patched that long.
